Yew Tree Farmhouse is a stunning Queen Anne/Georgian period home and one of the region's most desirable holiday homes. It offers the very best in self-catering accommodation, set within spacious surroundings and in complete privacy.
Internally, we have made the most of the classic features the house offers. Light floods into the lovely big rooms, which have been imaginatively furnished with contemporary pieces for total comfort. With such space and a lovely relaxed feel, Yew Tree Farmhouse is a first choice for large groups of family and friends who want the very best in fine accommodation.
The ground floor has room aplenty to spread out. The house accommodates up to 17 people but you should never feel you're living on top of each other. The breakfast room just off the superbly appointed kitchen allows for relaxed morning catering and the lovely large dining room has a vast table that comfortably seats 14. The enormous drawing room has plenty of sofas, arm chairs and a sofa bed on which to unwind and relax. Snuggle up on front of the fire, read and book, play a game or watch a film on the big TV. Off the snug, you will find a spacious downstairs shower room with loo. Outside the breakfast room on the other side of the covered area, there is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and Belfast sink that's perfect for washing muddy boots, children and dogs after a long walk.
The seven bedrooms are spread out over two floors. There are singles, doubles and family rooms that offer sensible sleep combinations for large groups. Three further bathrooms ensure no one has to wait too long! The floor plan best shows the layout. You can find the floorplan on the right hand side of this page, just under the photograph gallery
Garden and Grounds
There is lovely big barn that houses a table tennis table; it's a great place to 'lose' children! The vast gardens are wonderful. Terraces immediately outside the kitchen and the bar-be-que area both have tables and chairs, allowing you to bring your parties outside. A stream runs through the adjoining paddock and there's even a well (covered) AND an ancient outside loo! There is access to the paddock, which makes a perfect playing field.
StayCotswold is delighted that Yew Tree Farmhouse is now part of the nationally recognised Welcome scheme. Families, Cyclists, Walkers and Pets are all very Welcome at Yew Tree Farmhouse!
