We loved every minute of our stay at the Lodge at Winchcombe! Beautiful edge of village location, lovely classic yet contemporary house with loads of space and a great layout. Stylish interior decor and furniture, with lavish living rooms and charming bedrooms. The dining room is a wonderful gathering space. We enjoyed the sunset views of the Cotswolds from the roof terrace. We loved the gardens and the extensive private woodland walks. Thank you to Lizzie and Nick and the helpful, friendly staff who quietly took care of all our needs and provided delicious breakfasts and lunch. We look forward to staying again one day soon.
Thank you Lizzie, Nick and team. This is a wonderful home, lovely old cotswold stone charm but with contemporary decor and comfortable furnishings and crisp clean beds. Fabulous views from the roof terrace, lovely gathering spaces in the lounges and huge dining table. We loved the woodland walk and field. The house staff were friendly, helpful, available yet discreet. We would happily stay again.
We booked The Lodge for a mid week 2 day meeting, allowing colleagues valuable thinking space away from the demands of the office and were not disappointed. I cant fault any element of our stay, from the ample car park, beautifully kept grounds, immaculately clean rooms that were beautifully decorated, to the outstanding catering and service from Lizzie, the Lodge Manager and her team. Every element of our event ran smoothly, with feedback from the team so positive that we've rebooked for later in the year. The perfect venue for invaluable quiet time together as a team - thank you!
We booked The Lodge at Winchcombe for a long weekend with some friends and had a wonderful time. We must say the food provided by the chef was out of this world… even on the barbecue. We will be definitely booking again as it was the perfect country retreat.
