Spacious and stylish open plan kitchen which has been fully equipped to include large electric range cooker, electric hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, microwave, breakfast bar and dining table and chairs to seat 12 people. The utility area sits just off the kitchen and has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. The large living room has been comfortably furnished to provide a warm and welcoming space to seat all guests together in front of the TV and log burning stove. There is another dining table which can seat 8 guests and also a separate snug room which has its own TV and relaxing sofa which can be made into a king sofa bed upon request. There is also a WC and basin next door to the ground floor bedroom.

A damages deposit of £500 is required to cover any breakages or extraordinary cleaning. In most cases, this will be taken as an authorisation on a credit card.

Like many of our properties, this property welcomes pets, for a small extra charge of £40 per pet to cover additional cleaning costs. Pets must not be left unattended in the property and are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs, we also recommend that they are monitored at all times as the garden is not fully enclosed. Please refer to our Booking T&Cs for the full details of our pet clause.

Please note that if we advertise the property with;
• An open fire or wood burner; they are only available for guest use between 1st October – 30th April. During this period we will supply guests with a complimentary basket of logs, kindling, firelighters, newspaper and matches.
• A BBQ; they are only available for guest use 1st April – 30th September. During this period we will supply guests with a complimentary bag of charcoal, kindling, firelighters, newspaper and matches or a supply of gas in the case of a gas BBQ.

Near to the historical Roman town of Cirencester 10 mins by car, the house serves as a perfect holiday base to explore the myriad of beautiful surrounding towns and villages including Stow on the Wold and Bibury, with lots of places to eat, shop and enjoy.

Five mins drive from Cotswolds Water park - great for cycling, water sports and fishing.

Five mins walk to the wonderful 16th Century Wild Duck Inn, serving modern food and an extensive wine selection too, we love it there!

Kewen House is a ten minute walk from Kemble mainline station with direct links to London, Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham.

There is a local bus service through the village.
