The charming owners live in the main house and there are a few local residences in the hamlet.

If you choose not to add damage deposit cover at the point of booking, then we will require a security deposit of £250 amount.

Check out is by 10:00 on weekdays and Saturdays, and 11:00 on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Walks to Bibury via footpath direct from the cottage and also along the Coln River. Many other walks available. Great for cycling.

Visit the village pub at Barnsley or Barnsley House for the spa and restaurant or the Falcon Inn at Poulton or The New Inn at Coln. Your local shop can be found in Fairford where there is a Co-op and a great coffee shop called Lynwoods. Cirencester, the old Roman capital of the Cotswolds is just 6 miles away. Or take a day trip to Oxford, Bath or Cheltenham. Other places to visit are Burford Garden Centre, the Burford Wildlife Park, Lechlade for the Thames Pathway and the Cotswolds Water Park for water sports including paddle boarding. Special events in the area include the jazz and literary festivals and racing at Cheltenham.
