2 Church Cottage is an exquisite Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps 4 guests, in two calming bedrooms with a family bathroom and wet room. This classic property has a timeless style with original oak beams, exposed brickwork, a Cotswold colour palette combined with modern features makes it the perfect retreat to relax in after enjoying all the Cotswolds has to offer. A spacious living room awaits, inviting its guests with a warming log burner, plenty of seating and cosy furnishings. The kitchen is an elegant, open and airy space which effortlessly flows into the the courtyard garden, a peaceful spot to relax and listen to the Church bells of a morning.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

2 Church Cottage is situated in the incredible market town of Chipping Campden. A firm favourite amongst locals and visitors to the area, it has everything you could wish for during your Cotswold getaway. A selection of fine restaurants and quintessential pubs such as Da Luigi Bistro, The Noel Arms, and The Red Lion Tacern. Not to mention the wonderful boutique shops, extensive walks, and events throughout the year; a particular favourite is the traditional Cotswold Olympick Games, a sight to behold. Local gardens such as Hidcote and Kiftsgate are spectacular and well worth visiting, not to mention they are located just opposite each other!
For your shopping essentials, there is a co-op, deli, and butcher in Chipping Campden, and larger supermarkets in Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold.
Chipping Campden sits in the North Cotswolds and is perfectly situated for visiting the quintessential Cotswold destinations of Broadway, Winchcombe, and Stow-on-the-Wold, while also being in easy reach of places such as Shipston-on-Stour and Stratford-upon-Avon, where you can enjoy a performance at the RSC Theatre.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted (to be used if same sex parties are accepted)
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
