Located on the edge of The Cotswolds, this gorgeous retreat is the perfect destination for families or groups wanting a relaxing getaway while experiencing the very best of what the area has to offer. With a mix of contemporary and classic design, Camden Farm Barns boasts beautiful interiors and elegant furnishings meaning whatever your choice of style you will find your favourite.

Should you wish to entertain during your stay, there is the added bonus of a central celebration barn (available for an extra charge.) The Camden Hub is a recently refurbished barn that provides an enclosed, heated space including a kitchen, toilet facilities and a large trestle table and chairs (based on 24 persons as standard)

Ground Floor:

Sitting room: large room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard. SMART TV
Kitchen/Dining room: Open-plan room. Rangemaster cooker/hob/oven, American style fridge with ice-maker and cold filtered water, microwave, table, and seating for up to 14. There is a comfy seating area for 5 to chill out.
Utility Room: Butlers sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, plus additional drinks fridge
Downstairs WC
Bedroom 1: (sleeps 2) Super King bed (or twin on request,) en-suite shower room, (wheelchair accessible)

Ivy Cottage – (sleeps 6)
Ground Floor:
Kitchen: Fully equipped to include large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, double oven, and gas hob. Dining table and chairs to seat 6
Living Room: Comfortable sofas and an armchair surround the wood-burning stove and the TV
Bedroom One: Super King bedroom with hanging space and drawers, en suite with walk-in shower. (This bed can be made into two singles upon request)

First Floor:
Bedroom Two: – King bed with hanging space and drawers, ensuite with WC and walk-in shower.
Bedroom Three: – Split level bedroom, double bed upstairs with an ensuite walk-in shower and dressing area located at the bottom of the stairwell

The Stables – (sleeps 6)
Ground Floor:
Open plan living/dining/kitchen
Dining Area: Large dining table with benches to seat 6.
Kitchen Area: The kitchen island doubles up as a breakfast bar with seating for 3. The kitchen has been fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, range cooker and gas hob.
Living Area: Comfortable sofas and armchairs surrounding the wood-burning stove and the TV.
Bedroom One: Super king bed with wardrobe and drawers, en suite with walk-in shower.
Downstairs WC

First Floor:

Living Room/Dining Room: Flagstone flooring, large sofas, wood-burning stove and the TV. The open-plan space contains a dining table and chairs to seat 10.
Kitchen: Fully equipped to include large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, range cooker, gas hob, and separate pantry area

Bedroom One: Super king bed, ensuite with shower, dressing room.

Vespers – Sleeps 2
5 steps onto the terrace and then Vespers is all on one level
Blowen hot air heating as well as a log burner for cooler evenings

Bedroom area: double cabin bed with storage

Aurora – Sleeps 2
5 steps onto the terrace and then Vespers is all on one level

Outside Space:
Each barn and shepherds hut has its own dedicated outside space with outdoor seating, sun loungers, charcoal BBQ and allocated parking. Some barns also have an inflatable hot tub for use during your stay.
Camden Farm is located a short walk from the river Thames. Why not rent a paddle board or hire the MOD truck 'Goose' for a picnic or BBQ along the river. All bookable upon arrival at Camden Farm Barns.
There is plenty of fun to be had for all with use of the table football, football pitch and trampoline.
All barns are pet friendly and there is a £40 fee for each pet.

The Finer Details

  • Bed linen and towels are provided
  • Infant friendly - there are 4 cots and 4 highchairs at this property available on request
  • Dog friendly - up to 7 well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge of £40 (per dog), spread out across the complex. Please refer to our pet rules on our FAQ page for more information
  • There is allocated driveway parking for each individual property
  • Wi-fi in each property (50MB broadband is available on the estate and is split evenly between all 4 properties) - you can stream and download
  • TV in each property
  • There are small gardens areas for each property. Please note that these are not secure therefore dogs and children will need to be accompanied
  • Wood burner - please note that logs are only supplied to guests between 1st October – 30th April
  • BBQ - please note that coal and gas are only supplied to guests between 1st April – 30th September
  • Please note that Camden Farm is a working farm and other properties are within around 50-yard proximity

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard booking conditions

Location information

Camden Farm Barns are situated in the idyllic West Oxfordshire countryside, only 6 miles from Lechlade-on-Thames where there is a selection of cafes', pubs and shops. Only a 5 minute drive away is the historic market place of Faringdon, where you can source local produce in delicatessens, coffee shops, and butchers - Faringdon also has a range of supermarkets, pubs, and places to eat... If you don't feel like hopping in the car there is a pub situated just a 15 minute walk away. These properties are excellently located to explore everything that the Cotswolds has to offer!

Availability

You can arrive and depart on any day you like, for 2 nights or more, however if you select Monday and/or Friday as your change over days you will achieve the optimum price.
