Cosy Corner is a charming Cotswold stone terraced cottage near Moreton-in-Marsh which sleeps four guests, in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. On the ground floor there is a welcoming sitting room with an abundance of character, and a country style kitchen which looks out towards the garden across the footpath. This picturesque garden has a utility/wash room at the far end, ideal for storing bikes and muddy boots. Cosy Corner dates back to the mid-19th century and boasts traditional features, including a beautiful inglenook fireplace and wood burner, alongside modern amenities such as an air source heat pump which also provides air cooling for the warmer months.

Within the wash room at the end of the garden there is a washing machine, two tumble dryers, iron, ironing board, freezer, four deck chairs, shower cubicle, loo and wash basin

In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Cosy Corner is situated in the picturesque village of Evenlode, just three miles from the bustling market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. Located in the Evenlode Valley, the village is surrounded by wonderful countryside, with many footpaths on its doorstep and two national cycle routes passing through, a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
For your shopping essentials, there are supermarkets and independent retailers in both Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh.
Evenlode is well-placed for visiting the many picturesque towns and villages of the North Cotswolds such as Burford, Chipping Norton, Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water and The Slaughters.

  • This is an old property and has character features, including some low beams, steep stairs and multiple floors, which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility, or carrying babies, both in terms of their general movement and their ability to quickly exit the house in the event of an emergency. An accessibility guide is available on request
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
