Fuchsia Cottage is a stunning refurbished Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps 5+1 guests (see Finer Details), in three characterful bedrooms, with the +1 option being a trundle bed, with two bathrooms. Dating back to the 1760s, this stylish, homely retreat has a wonderful combination of modern interiors, original features and delightful quirks, including the log burner and stained glass window woodland scene in the sitting room. The contemporary kitchen is flooded with natural light from the bi-fold doors which overlook the tranquil, south facing walled garden; the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.
For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.
Location Information
Milton-under-Wychwood is located in the North Cotswolds, nestled between the honeypots of Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Chipping Norton.

- The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests, though the number of adults per booking is capped at 5. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

- Off street parking is available for up to 1 car (further parking can be found on street in the village)
- Electric charging point (no charging lead provided, payable via app using Tap Electric portal)

- The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
- No smoking, vaping or lighting of candles is permitted throughout the property and the garden
- Events are not permitted without prior consent

- Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
- Please note there is a camera doorbell and a camera at the rear which monitors the gate (the garden is not monitored)
- The trundle bed is suitable for adults, though please note that when this bed is made up, there is quite limited space in this bedroom
A security deposit of £300 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
