Hill View House is a newly built luxury Cotswold stone holiday home near Shipston-on-Stour which can sleep 10 guests across four beautifully appointed bedrooms. On the spacious ground floor is an open plan kitchen/dining/living space with sliding doors leading onto the patio and large garden and an inviting living room with plenty of comfy seating and wood burning stove for cooler evenings. One of the ensuite bedrooms is also on the ground floor offering accessibility for those who may need it. Hill View House is also a pet friendly holiday home and welcomes up to two dogs. The annexe above the garage comes equipped with an ensuite bedroom, small kitchen and living room.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Hill View House is located on the outskirts of the quaint village of Sibford Gower in the north of the Cotswolds, home to two village pubs and nestled amongst surrounding countryside where you can enjoy country walks and excellent cycling from your doorstep. Take a short drive to local attractions, such as Whichford Pottery or Feldon Valley for golf or dining or why not enjoy a tipple at nearby Hook Norton Brewery or a tasting at The Cotswold Distillery.
For your shopping essentials, there is a village shop in Sibford Gower or large supermarkets can be found in Banbury or Chipping Norton, both 8 miles away.
For stays at Hill View House, we recommend having a car to enjoy visiting Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold, just some of our favourite Cotswold towns.

  • Underfloor central heating system
  • Starter supply of wood and fire lighters are provided for the wood burning stove and further logs can be provided for a donation to the honesty box
  • Please be aware that Hill View House is located in a quiet rural area, and we respectfully request that guests are mindful of neighbours at all times, noise and music need to be kept to a minimum, especially when outside
  • Please note, there is an unenclosed stream along the bottom of the garden and children, infants, pets and those that cannot swim must be supervised at all times
  • The garages are not accessible to guests
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 10 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 3 additional infants
  • Hen and Stag and other same sex groups can enquire
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £350 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
