On the ground floor, there is a stylish sitting room with underfloor heating and a cosy wood burning stove and a spacious kitchen/dining room which is well equipped for home cooking. At the front of the property there is a fabulous patio garden, with plenty of outdoor seating, creating the perfect spot for brunch in the sunshine. Honeysuckle Cottage is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for two small-medium sized dogs!

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 6+1 guests (with the +1 option being a single pull out bed suitable for a child under 12). Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Honeysuckle Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Lower Oddington, an unspoilt village, home to the Fox Inn, a popular country pub (due to reopen in the spring/early summer 2022), perfect for a cosy romantic meal or a large family get together. The neighbouring village of Upper Oddington, contains another highly regarded pub, within easy walking distance, serving superior food and selection of ales.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Tesco Superstore in Stow-on-the-Wold and the highly renowned Daylesford Farmshop and Estate is close by.
Lower Oddington is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with many lovely walks and cycle routes available straight from the front door. This quaint village is also perfectly placed for visiting the much loved towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden and Cheltenham, as well as the picture postcard villages of Broadway, Lower Slaughter and Blockley.

You can arrive and depart on any day you like, for 2 nights or more, however if you select Monday and/or Friday as your changeover days, you will achieve the optimum price.
For a family day out, you can’t go far wrong with a visit to Cotswold Farm park! Why not feed the greedy goats and sheep before stroking the farms’ gentle giants – the Suffolk Punch horses or enjoy an afternoon in the adventure playgrounds, with a choice with zip wires, construction corner, muddy kitchen, bouncy pillows and a woodland walk.
