This fabulous detached property has an open plan feel to the ground floor and boasts a spacious dining room flooded in natural light from the glass roof lantern and tri-fold doors. Finished to a high standard, this pet friendly home away from home has a wood burner for cosy evenings in, and a wonderful enclosed garden for you to make the most of the long summer nights.

  • Honeysuckle House is located in a peaceful village, and we respectfully request that guests are mindful of neighbours at all times, noise and music need to be kept to a minimum, especially when outside
  • Children must be supervised on the trampoline at all times
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note…
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 12 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 4 additional infants
  • Hen, stag and other same sex groups are not permitted
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • The family room marked on the floor plan is locked for owner use only
  • There are CCTV cameras throughout the property, however these are disabled during guest stays
     
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £350 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Honeysuckle House is situated in Ewen, a peaceful village surrounded by stunning countryside and home to The Wild Duck, a popular country inn (currently closed for refurbishment - March 22). The neighbouring village of Kemble marks the start of the River Thames and benefits from a mainline train station with direct trains to London Paddington.
For your shopping essentials, there is a general store in Kemble and larger supermarkets in Cirencester.
Ewen is well-placed for exploring the picturesque towns and villages of Tetbury, Nailsworth and Castle Combe, and is within reach of a number of tourist destinations including Westonbirt Arboretum, the Cotswold Water Park and the beautiful city of Bath.

Well equipped but a shame that the hot water doesn't last for 10 showers. Smoke alarm in laundry room needs fixing as it continuously beeps

Thanks for such a lovely stay. We stayed as part of a family friendly hen party, with a couple of children too. The house was really clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed for the weekend. We used the dining space the most which is just beautiful! Thanks again Micki :)
