Juniper Cottage is situated in the heart of the vibrant village of Filkins, only a stone’s throw from the local shop, the village outdoor swimming pool/children’s playground, and The Five Alls, a great local pub. Visit the Cotswold Woollen Weavers, a story of sheep’s wool and limestone, plus a great café with homemade cake and coffee! Back at the cottage, cosy up to the wood-burning stove, watch a movie, or pop out to the Five Alls, less than a 5 minute walk away, where you can enjoy a drink in the spacious flag stoned bar or outstanding cuisine. Juniper Cottage is a great base from which to explore everything the Cotswolds has to offer.

Master bedroom (sleeps 2) – Double bed with en-suite shower, sink basin and WC

Outside the front of the property there is an enclosed garden area with bistro style tables and chairs.
At the rear of the property there is a small enclosed garden.
There is enough parking on a private driveway at the property for a maximum of 2 cars

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard booking conditions

Location information

Tucked away off a country lane in Filkins, a quintessential English village, Juniper Cottage is in a brilliant location to visit all the main attractions in the area. Less than 5 miles away is town of Burford, known as the ‘gateway to the Cotswolds’, where there are a variety of shops, café’s, delicatessens and pubs. Only a 5-minute drive away is Cotswold Wildlife Park – a must see attraction for families! In you are wanting to stay on foot there is a local pub within 1 mile and there is a village shop just around the corner.

You can arrive and depart on any day you like, for 2 nights or more, however if you select Monday and/or Friday as your change over days you will achieve the optimum price.
