Overview

Nestled in the grounds of a family home, Keepers Homes consists of two beautifully presented Cotswold holiday homes with a hot tub. Together these properties can sleep up to six guests, in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Once outbuildings, they have been lovingly renovated with contemporary fittings whilst retaining some of their period charm and attributes of their former uses. Each property has its own wonderful highlight – Keepers Annexe offers stunning views over the neighbouring farmland whilst Keepers Stable has a unique bubbling hot tub on the patio immersed amongst the woodland. Keepers Stable acts as the hub for dining and relaxing as a group, whilst Keepers Annexe is the perfect retreat for those guests seeking extra privacy and peace. Keepers Homes allows two medium sized dogs, so you can bring your four-legged friend to enjoy the holiday too!

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Keepers Homes is located near to the pretty village of Cranham, a small, traditional village with honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages lining its streets. Cranham is home to a children's play area, a common and the popular pub, The Black Horse Inn. The nearest eatery to the property is The Fostons Ash, with an excellent menu and local beers. The village is surrounded by wonderful, unspoilt countryside specifically known for its ancient beech woodlands containing a wealth of footpaths, including The Cotswold Way. For your shopping essentials, the nearest is the village shop in Miserden.
Cranham is ideally located for exploring the local towns of Stroud and Cheltenham, both of which can be reached in under a 20 minute drive. The cities of Cirencester and Gloucester also lie within easy reach, about an hour away. The popular attraction of Ebworth National Trust centre is just two minutes' drive away, and beautiful Royal Forest of Dean, Painswick's Rococo Garden and Slimbridge Wetland Wildlife Reserve all lie within a short drive.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 3 additional infants (aged 2 or under)
  • Bed linen and towels are provided
  • Off street parking is available for up to 4 cars
  • 2 travel cots and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cots, as this is not provided)

  • Mobile phone reception is generally excellent
  • 2 TVs, one of which is a Smart TV
  • Hot tub (as an environmentally friendly landlord, the hot tub will only be switched on if requested as a booking extra prior to your stay)
  • Combination of underfloor heating and electric heaters in Keepers Stable. Electric wall heaters only in Keepers Annexe
  • Although Keepers Stable is laid out over a single storey, there is a step into the property
  • Keepers Annexe is accessed via steep external stairs
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • The zip wire and campfire area can be used by guests, however, please note that this is at your own risk and that children should always be supervised by adults
  • Keepers Annexe is located above the owner's garage (there are times of the year when this will be in use, however efforts have been taken to minimise noise)
  • There are Ring cameras in the courtyard, however, these do not look into the windows or near the hot tub
  • Keepers Stable and Keepers Annexe are two self-contained properties in the grounds of another holiday let
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
  • Please note the woodland and zip wire are shared with the neighbouring holiday let, Keepers House
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
