The Mill is a stunning, refurbished, period Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps six guests, in three characterful bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Sympathetically and tastefully decorated, with flourishes of colour and unique art pieces, The Mill is a delightful one-off retreat. On the ground floor, the spacious kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for rustling up a home-cooked meal and moving upstairs, the sitting room has wonderful original features, beautiful high ceilings and a cosy log burner. To add to the uniqueness of this property, there is an incredible landscaped garden which boasts multiple patios and a tiered lawn; ideal for making the most of the warmer weather. If that wasn't enough, The Mill is also a dog friendly holiday home!

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

The Mill is nestled in the picturesque village of Blockley and the perfect place to holiday in the Cotswolds, full of honey coloured stone cottages, beautiful walks and steeped in Cotswold history. This stunning village is home to country pubs, a much-loved village shop and café and is perfectly located for visiting places such as Batsford Arboretum, The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Hidcote House and Gardens. If you fancy a visit to the local towns and villages, we would highly recommend Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway, all of which have an array of boutique shops and eateries.
For your shopping essentials, there is the shop in the village and larger supermarkets in the nearby town of Moreton-in-Marsh.
Blockley sits in the North Cotswolds and is well-placed for visiting the popular destinations of Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham, Warwick Castle and the historic city of Oxford.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under) 
  • Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic)
  • Off street parking is available for up to 2 cars
  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

  • There is an unenclosed stream with a bridge that flows through the communal garden next door to the property, so please take care when outside and ensure children and dogs are supervised at all times (the communal gardens are not for guest use)
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
