Topside is a beautifully refurbished, light and airy Cotswold holiday apartment which sleeps 4 guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms, with one spacious bathroom. This top floor apartment has a stylish and contemporary open plan kitchen/dining area which leads out onto the private roof terrace, boasting plenty of outdoor seating, a space to enjoy all year round. Indoors there is a pretty, inviting sitting room which oozes comfort and lovely features throughout including original exposed beams, high ceilings and sash windows. Topside is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for two dogs.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Topside is situated in the heart of the Cotswold market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, with its array of shops, delightful tearooms and restaurants. A few standout places to visit are The Cotswold Cheese Company's shop (an absolute must for the foodie), Martha's Coffee House and Otis & Belle for one of their delicious pastries. Other wonderful places to visit are Batsford Arboretum, The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Hidcote Gardens. This makes Moreton-in-Marsh a fabulous place to stay, especially as there is a train station within walking distance which has services to Oxford and London!
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op and Tesco Express within walking distance and an Aldi Superstore on the opposite edge of town.
Moreton-in-Marsh sits in the heart of the North Cotswolds and is perfectly placed for visiting the much-loved towns and villages of Winchcombe, Chipping Campden, Stratford-upon-Avon, Broadway and Blockley.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

  • Free on-street parking is available, however please note there is a 2 hour time limit in the High Street
  • Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Topside has a lovely roof terrace and shared courtyard for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
  • Please be aware that Moreton-in-Marsh receives a funfair in town twice a year, in March and September. There might be more noise than usual during this time and parking can also be affected
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
