In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Windrush is located in the picturesque village of Salford, an unspoilt village nestled in the Cotswold countryside. The village is home to The Black Horse pub with its delicious menu, and the historically interesting 12th century St Mary's Church, that boasts one of the tallest towers in the area, visible for many miles. There are many footpaths on Salford's doorstep including Step into the Cotswolds:Walk 2, a delightful 6.5 miles walk across gently undulating countryside which takes you through the bustling Market town of Chipping Norton and the picturesque village of Cornwell.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op, Sainsbury Local and M&S in Chipping Norton.
Salford sits in the heart of the North Cotswolds and is perfectly placed for visiting the much loved towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden and Cheltenham, as well as the picture postcard villages of Broadway, Lower Slaughter and Blockley.

  • Due to the drop between levels in the rear tiered garden, young children and dogs should be supervised at all times
  • To enquire about including a hot tub for your stay, please contact Nick at Oxford Hot Tubs. Hire costs will be payable to Oxford Hot Tubs directly, along with a standard £75 charge payable to the Owner via StayCotswold as a contribution towards the usual running costs
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

    • The maximum occupancy for this property is 10+5 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants
    • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire 
    • Events are not permitted without prior consent
    • A security deposit is required at this property

    Security Deposit

    A security deposit of £350 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
