Nestled within a charming pocket of quaint, terrace houses, Archway Cottage welcomes up to five guests (see Finer Details), in two bedrooms, with one family bathroom. The wonderful honey coloured Cotswold stone walls are coupled with buttery neutral decor and the occasional vibrant pop of colour. This is the perfect setting to share with friends or family, offering plenty of living space with two reception rooms, cosy features and homely touches throughout, a joy to return to after a day exploring the idyllic surroundings. Admire the wonderful countryside views from the desk in bedroom 2 or from the comfort of the sitting room. The two patios offer a private retreat surrounded by high hedges and sounds of the babbling brook in one of these peaceful spaces. This Cotswold holiday cottage welcomes one small dog!

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Archway Cottage is a beautiful family friendly Cotswold holiday home located in Blockley, a characterful village steeped in history, which boasts two country pubs and a community owned village shop & café, which can be reached in under 10 mintues' walk. Why not enjoy a seasonal meal or beverage at either The Great Western Arms or Crown Hotel Blockley. For breakfast or a coffee, we suggest Blockley Café.
For your shopping essentials, there is the Blockley village shop, or alternatively, there is a local Co-op in the neighbouring market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.
Blockley is ideally situated in the North Cotswolds, perfect for exploring the stunning Cotswold countryside and nearby towns and villages such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway.

  • Bed linen and towels are provided (the bunk room has hypoallergenic bedding and this is also available in the master bedroom, on request)

  • Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 5 guests, though the number of adults per booking is capped at 4. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
