Holiday in Chipping Norton

On the third Saturday of the month the town host the must visit farmers market. Highly recommended for its selection of local produce and artisan foods – perfect for picking up the ingredients for a home cooked meal back at your self-catering cottage.

If you’re lucky enough to visit between April and September, and the weather is kind to you, then the local Lido is an absolute must visit. The pool itself is open to swimmers of all ages – adult only sessions are also available – and there is a steam room and observation deck for non-swimmers and spectators.

Families should venture just five minutes out of town for a fun day out at Fairytale Farm where you can visit ‘Mouse Town’ , ‘Bunny Hollow’, the ‘Wilderness Walk’ and ‘Huff and Puff’ before refuelling in the on-site café.

Older visitors can enjoy a trip slightly further afield, to the Hook Norton Brewery to sample their award-winning ale on a brewery tour through the historic brewery buildings.

If you’re lucky enough to be a member of Soho House then one of our luxury cottages in Chipping Norton is close enough for an indulgent visit.

The towns and villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and The Slaughters are all within easy reach, making Chipping Norton the ideal base for exploring this part of the beautiful Cotswolds. Whilst you’re out and about, the nearby Rollright Stones is one of the most famous stone circles in the British Isles.
