Located in the heart of Chipping Norton, Garden Cottage is a charming terraced Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. With a stone fireplace and exposed wooden beams, the cosy living room with wood burning stove is an ideal setting for a wintery break in the Cotswolds and with the country style kitchen, you can rustle up breakfast in bed or a Sunday roast for those that join you on your stay. In the summer months, make the most of the whimsical garden whilst enjoying a BBQ or the luxury of the hot tub. This is also a dog friendly holiday home, welcoming up to two medium sized dogs.

This two bedroom holiday cottage is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends for a cosy country escape whilst having the luxury of a town on your doorstep. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Known as 'Chippy' amongst the locals, Chipping Norton is a bustling North Cotswold town with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, all a short walk from the cottage. In addition, the town is home to Chipping Norton Theatre, offering a variety of performances for all. Having a car will allow you to explore nearby Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Rollright Stones and many surrounding village pubs.
For your shopping essentials, there is a local Co-op and Sainsburys in the heart of Chipping Norton.

The Finer Details

  • Bed linen and towels are provided - all bedding is hypoallergenic but do note some throw cushions may contain feathers
  • Free on-street parking close to the property & 1 residents parking spot offered but spaces are limited so not guaranteed 
  • 1 travel cot, 1 highchair and 2 stair gates (placed at the top of each staircase) are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided) 
  • 2 medium sized dogs (no larger than retrievers) are welcome for an additional £40 per booking per dog. For pet rules, please visit our FAQs. Please keep dogs on paved or gravel areas only to avoid damage to plants

  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants
  • Hen and stag groups on request
  • Commercial, work related and single sex bookings are welcomed
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
