Izods Cottage is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps six guests, in three spacious bedrooms, with one family bathroom. On the ground floor you have a pretty farmhouse kitchen which is fully equipped for you to prepare some favourite family recipes, and a cosy sitting room which offers plenty of comfy seating with a lovely wood burning stove for those chillier evenings. There is a separate dining room and a quaint snug area, both of which have original exposed beamed ceilings. The secluded garden is a genuine haven, featuring both lawn and patio areas, and even a tranquil river flowing along the far edge. With ample outdoor seating, it’s a space to be enjoyed throughout the year. Izods Cottage is a dog friendly Cotswold cottage, suitable for one medium sized dog.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Izods Cottage is nestled in the pretty market town of Chipping Campden. Much of the town centre is a conservation area which has helped to preserve the original buildings, and being situated amongst beautiful Cotswold scenery, there are wonderful walks on its doorstep including the 102 mile Cotswold Way which starts (or ends!) in the town and follows the escarpment down to Bath. With plenty of boutiques, artisan coffee shops and places to eat, you will be spoilt for choice. Take a look at what's on in the Cotswold to plan your visit further!

For your shopping essentials, there is a deli and Co-op in Chipping Campden, with supermarkets and independent retailers in Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold.
Chipping Campden is well-placed for visiting some historic gardens nearby: the Arts and Crafts Hidcote Manor Garden, owned and managed by the National Trust, and Kiftsgate at nearby Mickleton.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

The river at the end of the garden is unfenced and so children and pets should be supervised at all times. Additionally, there are steps that lead down from the garden to the riverside itself, which can become slippery when wet
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Izods Cottage has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. We reserve the right to charge an amount up to the value of the security deposit to your payment card up to 7 days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the security deposit amount against your payment card 7 days prior to your arrival date, which will be released 7 days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Our stay at Izods cottage was wonderful. It was a beautiful cottage with everything we needed and high quality too! Looking out on to the garden from the living room was an added bonus. It was very central and very accessible to the centre. Our only problem, hence the 4 for customer service was the failure to separate the double bed into two single beds despite requesting twice. This was quickly rectified during our weekend though!

We arrived earlier than expected and found a parking spot outside the cottage which was great as my parents are elderly. The only one negative was how to open the door with the smart lock, we didn't at first realise it wasn't touching the black panel but placing your whole palm over the screen before the keyboard flashed up. We found a window cleaner who knew the mobile no. of the cleaner. Then we were sorted. The cottage is outstanding and provided everything and more that we needed for a truly relaxing stay. It smelt lovely with the reed diffusers, the bedding was soft, luxurious and comfortable. The extra Television in a bedroom was an added bonus. The garden was enchanting and well maintaned running as it did down to the little river. The weather was really very good so were able to relax in the outdoor seating. We hope to come back and visit more of the exclusive shops in this picturesque town.
