There are plenty of footpaths on the doorstep, including scenic riverside walks along the Avon and routes out into the surrounding Wiltshire countryside. Malmesbury is perfectly placed for discovering the south Cotswolds, with the picturesque town of Tetbury just a short drive away, along with Cirencester, Bath and the pretty village of Castle Combe.
