Founded by Lucy Mcnamara in 2005, Aspiga began while Lucy was on holiday in Kenya and was awestruck by the artistry and craftsmanship of the beautiful hand-beaded sandals, intricately adorned belts, and bold, bright jewellery made by the locals. Fast-forward to 2015 and the brand had launched a clothing collection and expanded into India. By 2020 they opened their first store and had eliminated plastic from their packaging the prior year.
Aspiga was one of the first brands to achieve B Corp certification in 2022 and have a firm emphasis on people and the planet before profit. All raw materials and fabrics are selected from natural natural, renewable and certified sources.
