Property details

Martell barns are a pair of contemporary and charismatic barn conversions, surrounded by the gorgeous Cotswold country side. With six bedrooms and six individual bathrooms, these spacious barns have the flexibility to get together as a large group, but will also allow you space and privacy to separate and relax too! Situated within the picturesque grounds of Camden Farm, near the historic market town of Faringdon where you will find an ample opportunities to stock up on the necessities! Don't forget that Martell barns are completley Pet friendly too so the furry friends don't have to miss out!

This cottage can be booked alongside our other holiday properties onsite at Camden Farm which can accommodate further guests if required - HONEY COTTAGE & HIGH BARN - ideal for a large family break or a group booking.

An additional entertainment space, The Camden Hub, is available for an extra charge if you are booking two or more barns at Camden Farm. This unique rustic barn space provides an enclosed, heated entertainment space for dining and dancing along with a kitchen, 2 loos (his & hers) large rustic trestle table, chairs and place settings for up to 24 as standard. The Stables

The spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area has been tastefully decorated to provide a welcoming and cosy space. It has exposed internal stone walls and flagstone flooring, both of which compliment the furnishings well. The open plan space contains a large dining table with benches to seat 6 people. The bifold doors can be opened up during the summer months to enjoy the garden. The kitchen island doubles up as a breakfast bar with seating for 3 people. The kitchen has been fully equipped to include a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, range cooker, and gas hob. The living room is situated just beyond the kitchen where you will find comfortable sofas and armchairs surrounding the wood-burning stove and the TV.

Ivy Cottage

The kitchen is light and spacious and boasts stunning countryside views from the kitchen sink. The kitchen has been fully equipped to include large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, double oven and gas hob. Dining table and chairs to seat 6 are placed in front of the patio doors which can be opened up during the summer months. Flagstone flooring flows through from the kitchen to the living room beyond, which has been tastefully decorated to provide a welcoming and cosy space. Comfortable sofas and an armchair surround the wood burning stove and the TV.

Bedroom 3 - Master bedroom with king sized bed, a separate dressing room with hanging space and shelving, en suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Bedroom 2 - Master Super King bedroom with hanging space and drawers, en suite with WC and walk-in shower. This bed can be made into two singles upon request.
First Floor
Bedroom 1 - King bedroom with hanging space and drawers, en suite with WC and walk-in shower.
Bedroom 3 - Double bedroom with a separate walk-in shower room and dressing area located at the bottom of the stairwell.

OUTSIDE
Each cottage has its own dedicated outside space with bistro table, chairs and charcoal BBQ. Surrounded by beautiful Cotswold countryside!
Guests are very welcome to explore the surrounding area and you will find the river Thames to the rear of the farm, so the Thames path can be easily accessed where many pubs are located along the river, serving food and drink!

The Finer Details

?StayCotswold are now offering a flexible cancellation policy allowing our guests to book with confidence, knowing that if you cancel for any unforeseen circumstances that arise, you the guest will be returned your booking deposit or full payment depending upon what has already been paid. This will apply to all new bookings placed to arrive after the 1st August 2020.
  • Bed linen and towels are provided
  • Infant friendly – there is 1 travel cot and 1 highchair available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as these are not provided)
  • Dog friendly – up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge of £40 per dog. Please refer to our pet rules on our FAQ page for more information.
  • There is driveway parking at the front of the property for a maximum of 3 cars.

  • Wood burner – please note that logs are only supplied to guests between 1st October – 30th April.
  • BBQ – please note that coal and gas are only supplied to guests between 1st April – 30th September.
  • There is a small dedicated garden area, however please note that this is not secure therefore infatns and dogs will need to be accompanied at all times.
  • Please be aware that The Stables is on the complex of Camden Farm and there are other properties within close proximity.
Things to Note...

If you choose not to add damage deposit cover at the point of booking, then we will require a security deposit of £250.

Events are not permitted without prior consent.

Check in is from 16:00

Check out is by 10:00 on weekdays and Saturdays, and 11:00 on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

The Stables Cottage is situated in the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside close to market town of Faringdon where you will find a large range of amenities including supermarkets, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and a few select shops.
