StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

1 Manor Farm Cottage is located on the outskirts of the pretty village of Hook Norton in the North Cotswolds. This picturesque village benefits from a large array of eateries including the contemporary Sun Inn, traditional Cotswold styled Pear Tree Inn and The Gate Hangs high, all serve delicious food and local ale from the villages very own brewery! Nestled in the countryside there are numerous footpaths on Hook Norton's doorstep, one of our particular favourites is the circular five mile walk to the nearby village of Swerford, a small traditional village, or even head further afield through the Stour Valley. If you are a fan of golf, a short drive away is Rye Hill golf club and Tadmarton Heath golf club.
For your shopping essentials, there is a village shop, butchers and farm shop in Hook Norton. Just a short drive away in Chipping Norton is a Sainsburys Local, Co-Op and Marks and Spencers Foodhall.
Hook Norton sits in the North Cotswolds and is perfectly placed for visiting the much loved towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden and Cheltenham, as well as the picture postcard villages of Broadway, Lower Slaughter and Blockley. Also within easy driving distance are the well known places to visit of The Cotswolds Wildlife Park, Daylesford Organic, Soho Farmhouse, The Rollright Stones and Blenheim Palace.

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
