Bakers Flat is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold holiday apartment laid out over two floors which sleeps 5+1 guests, in three well-appointed bedrooms, with the +1 option being a single trundle bed, with two spacious bathrooms. Whether cooking or snuggling up watching a film, it really is the perfect social setting. Situated above the award-winning KNEAD bakery and Jesse Smith Butchers, this dog friendly home boasts a superb central location and neighbours a fantastic artisan yard which houses beautiful local shops and is within walking distance of the wide variety of other local shops and eateries in Cirencester.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Bakers Flat is situated on one of the most picture-perfect and centrally located streets in the vibrant market town of Cirencester. Known for being a foodie's paradise, the area is bursting with popular eateries including The Fleece, The Golden Cross and Sam & Jak’s restaurant. The stunning Church of St John the Baptist, with its breathtaking medieval architecture, dominates the town square and the array of stunning green parks scattered throughout make for wonderful exploring...perfect for dog friendly holidays. Of course, not to be missed, are the town's world-famous Roman ruins harking back to its past as 'Corinium Dobunnorum', the second largest town in Roman Britain. The town's fascinating past is well documented in the Corinium Museum.

For your shopping essentials, there are a number of supermarkets and independent retailers in Cirencester.
Cirencester is affectionately known by some as the 'Capital of the Cotswolds', occupying an enviable central location in the region. The honeypot destinations of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Tetbury and Cheltenham are easily accessible for days out.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)

Security Deposit/Accidental Damage Waiver

Bookings at this property require either a £250 Security Deposit or payment of a non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver. Where you choose a Security Deposit and we have your payment card details on file (for your security, these details are tokenised), we have the right to charge an amount up to the value of the Security Deposit to your payment card up to seven days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the Security Deposit amount against your payment card seven days prior to your arrival date, which will be released seven days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. You may choose to waive the requirement for a Security Deposit by paying for an Accidental Damage Waiver at checkout. This is a non-refundable payment that covers the cost of any accidental damage or breakages to the property or its contents, up to the value of the Security Deposit. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Stayed here over the bank holiday with friends and it was perfect. Brilliant location where we could easily get to shops, pubs and also go for walks. Loved being above a bakery to get some morning pastries! The flat was done beautifully and much more spacious than we thought from the photos. Everything we needed was there including kicthen utensils. Two people in our party drove and managed to find free parking nearby with relative ease. Would very much recomend this as a lovely weekend!

Spent four nights and could not fault the apartment itself. Central to everything, with some lovely places to eat in walking distance, including the Spanish Tapas right behind the flat. Only slight negative was the noise early mornings and potentially I could see if being quite noisy at weekends, Thursday night there was a group making noise middle of the night ( we arrived Monday and left Friday) but that is the nature of the beast with the apartment being in such a good central location. Would not put me off coming back! Very enjoyable stay.

Fabulous apartment right in the middle of town. Just as the pictures, very well furnished and decorated. Loved being so close to great independent shops, bars and restaurants would definitely recommend. As other guests have mentioned you are in the middle of town so if you're used to peace and quiet and are a light sleeper maybe take some ear plugs (it's really not bad btw don't let it put you off). Besides the beds are so comfy you'll be sound asleep anyway!!
