  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250.00 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Paxford is an idyllic Cotswold village with an award-winning pub at its centre and fantastic country and river walks on its doorstep. The picturesque market town of Chipping Campden is just three miles away, home to popular pubs, restaurants and tearooms.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Chipping Campden.
Paxford is well-placed for exploring the many charming towns and villages of the North Cotswolds such as Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway and Blockley, as well as further afield tourist destinations including London, Oxford, Cheltenham and Bath.


The cottage had all the equipment we could have wished for especially in the kitchen. We would have welcomed some information on the local area and maybe a visitors book where other guests could share their information. Unfortunately the local pub mentioned in the details had had a couple of weeks before our visit and so was not open. We had a good week and enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely spacious house, ideal for 3 couples due to every bedroom having its own en-suite. Kitchen very well stocked with everything you require although could have benefited from a larger frying pan/wok. Beds were extremely comfortable however all 3 bedrooms were lacking in mirrors. 2 of the 3 only had a mirror in the en-suite and the 3rd had a dressing table but no mirror over it. However I am being picky here because overall it was a great property and we had a lovely relaxing week. The local pub is only a few minutes walk away as well.

A new property, perfect for three couples or a family. Good location for exploring and short walk to super pub which serves food. Fully equipped kitchen/ eating area. Good size double bedrooms, all with lovely en-suite. Small but useable garden and parking at rear and on road. We used the log fire as first day couldn’t work out central heating controls. Easy to get going and quickly heated the room. Lounge is so very comfortable with high quality furniture. Separate TV lounge ideal for quiet getaway or TV/gaming. Again quality furniture. We assume board games not provided due to Covid. We took our own games We three couples would like to return in future and hope all guests continue to treat the cottage respectfully. Booking and follow up questions was easy and staff friendly and helpful.
