Greenview Cottage is a beautifully refurbished 18th century Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps seven guests, in four well-appointed bedrooms, with two bright and airy bathrooms. This impressive Grade II listed home from home has an abundance of character features including exposed wooden beams, natural stone flooring and stone mullion windows, all of which are complemented by the contemporary decor, elegant furnishings and modern facilities provided. On the ground floor, there is a stylish sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating and a cosy inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove, and a spacious kitchen/dining room which is well-equipped for enthusiastic cooks. At the rear of the property there is a fabulous courtyard garden, with plenty of outdoor seating, creating the perfect spot for brunch in the sunshine.

At the front of the cottage there is a pretty sloped garden which overlooks the peaceful village green.

  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 7 guests, though the number of adults per booking is capped at 6. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Greenview Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Little Barrington, an unspoilt village home an award-wining country pub, The Fox Inn, which is set alongside the River Windrush. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, there are numerous walks and cycle routes available on the doorstep. Just three miles away is the chocolate-box mediaeval town of Burford, with a variety of independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Burford.
Little Barrington sits in the heart of the North Cotswolds and is perfectly placed for visiting the much loved towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester, Bourton-on-the-Water and Kingham, as well as popular attractions including the Cotswold Wildlife Park, a great day out for all the family including four-legged companions, Birdland Park and Gardens and Asthall Manor.

Stop off for afternoon tea at the original Burford branch of Huffkins, opened by the founder Mr Titcomb back in 1890! Their infamous baked goods have made it all the way to Fortnum & Mason and some Royal households – so it would be rude not to sample the delights for yourself.
