Jasmine Cottage is nestled in the beautiful village of Windrush and sleeps three guests, in two delightful bedrooms, with a family bathroom. The cottage dates back 300 years with original flagstone flooring, oak beams and exposed stonework which are tastefully incorporated to create the most comforting and welcoming home. At the heart of the property is the sitting room, with a wonderful log burner and soft interiors for a cosy evening after exploring the Cotswolds. The beautiful, well-equipped kitchen leads to a charming private garden, which catches the sun in the late afternoon and is a perfect spot to savour a glass of wine. This delightful property is dog friendly and surrounded by stunning walks.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Jasmine Cottage is located in the picturesque, unspoiled village of Windrush, surrounded by National Trust land with beautiful walks in all directions. The Fox at Barrington is a favourite riverside pub within easy walking distance down a winding country road. The Sherborne Shop and Tea Room is a great place to visit for local food and drink with an excellent selection of fine wines. Close by is the historic market town of Burford with boutique shops and a variety of restaurants.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Burford and larger supermarkets and independent retailers in Witney.
Windrush is located in the heart of the Cotswolds and is the ideal base for many popular destinations such as Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Cheltenham or the wonderful historic towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway.

  • Bed linen and towels are provided 
  • Free on street parking is readily available outside the property for 1 car, additional free parking can be found next to the church
  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 3 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us
  • Neighbours have access to the garden for rubbish bin collection and the septic tank
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
