Riverview is a beautifully styled Cotswold holiday apartment which sleeps four guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms, complete with a modern en-suite and family bathroom. The apartment comprises a stylish open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room, with views of the private patio, communal garden and the valley beyond. Riverview is a dog friendly holiday home and has plenty of countryside to explore right on the doorstep, including many popular walking and cycle routes.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Riverview Burford holiday accommodation is located in Windrush Heights, which is within a stone's throw of The Cotswold Outpost and a short drive to the picturesque village of Little Barrington, an unspoilt village with an award-wining country pub, The Fox Inn, which is set alongside the River Windrush. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, there are numerous walks. Just four miles away is the chocolate-box medieval town of Burford, with a variety of independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants.

For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Burford.
Riverview sits in the heart of the North Cotswolds and is perfectly placed for visiting the much loved towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester, Bourton-on-the-Water and Kingham, as well as popular attractions including the Cotswold Wildlife Park, a great day out for all the family including four-legged companions, Birdland Park and Gardens and Asthall Manor.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)
Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic)
Allocated off street parking is available for up to 2 cars
Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

The apartment was very cleaned, spacious and views of fields from Dining room and bedroom. Once can sit outside for a drink or food and enjoy beautiful view of fields and hill across. Location - Its very very short and easy drive to Bibury (Arlington Row) not to be missed at any cost, Burford, Burton on Water, Upper and Lower Slaughter. Kitchen - is very well equipped with fully fitted oven and Microwave. The the dishes, spoons and whatever you need for cooking was there in the cupboard. Bathrooms - two bathrooms, one with the Bathtub and another Walk-in shower which helped me as I am part-disabled. Everything is on ground floor and one floor without any step at all, which helped me as I am part-disabled. Two big bays for car park. Communication from emergency contact was very quick and efficient. I wouldnt want to stay anywhere else in Cotswolds but only in this 2-bed apart.

Overall, we had a wonderful time during our stay. The apartment has a great view looking out over the fields (but it is directly next to a main road so you hear cars constantly coming and going if you're sitting on the terrace). The apartment itself was very large, modern and well equipped. The only negatives for us regarding the flat itself is that all the walls are paper thin (including the one separating the other apartments). I could hear very clearly the neighbours conversations word for word. The apartment also has very loud and squeaky doors that were a nightmare when trying not to wake up our baby.

A lovely spacious new build ultra modern flat surrounded by countryside. In a good location for sightseeing the best villages in the Cotswolds. The flat was very clean with comfortable beds and a path around the property so we could walk our dog. We were very pleased with everything. The Outpost (a shop and dog friendly cafe) is at the beginning of the driveway so you can get milk and basic essentials. We would be happy to stay there again and would recommend it to friends. We really enjoyed our holiday but the plug in the kitchen sink needs replacing as the water leeks through.
