In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Woodman Cottage in the Cotswolds occupies a truly enviable and rare location within the private village on the Cornwell Estate. This peaceful setting is truly picturesque and ideal for families, thanks to the village's very own playground, post box and brook which meanders through the houses. The area offers a wide range of walks for all abilities, some of which wind through the estate grounds, others weave into the neighbouring fields. The village sits centrally between the bustling market town of Chipping Norton, the charming village of Kingham and the quaint small villages of Churchill and Salford. All of these are home to very popular country pubs including The Black Horse, The Kingham Plough and The Chequers, all regular residents on Cotswold food guides.
For your shopping essentials, Kingham's village shop is well stocked and there is also a Marks and Spencers Foodhall in Chipping Norton.
Many of the Cotswold hotspots are just a short drive from the cottage including Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Farmshop which can even be reached on foot!

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent

  • Woodman Cottage is located in a private village where the majority of the houses have long term residents, so we politely request that guests are considerate of this
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
