Best Cafes in the Cotswolds
If we’ve learned anything over this past year, it’s that we love a walk with a takeaway coffee!
Head to one of our top 10 Cotswold cafe’s and if you’re feeling indulgent throw in a naughty piece of homemade cake.
Lynwood & Co
Bringing the family-oriented coffee culture of Sydney to the Cotswolds, Lynwood & Co offers award-winning, delicious coffee. Their locally-sourced, seasonal menu of homemade food is also perfect for a lazy weekend brunch. Alternatively, you can buy organic eggs and one of their amazing sourdough loaves for a breakfast of champions in the comfort of your Cotswold holiday home.
We love nothing more than relaxing in the Broadway Deli’s charming garden with a lovely coffee and a homemade croissant. Of course, you’ll want to have a mooch around the Aladdin’s cave of a deli and discover all of the local produce available, whilst you’re there… you cannot leave without picking up a jar of their famous homemade marmalade.
Blockley Village Cafe
If you want to be spoiled for choice for breakfast in the Cotswolds, then grab a table outside the Blockley Village Cafe and watch the world go by. From smashed avocado on sourdough toast, to French patisserie, to a Full English, there’s something for everyone. They also do an incredible hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows! You can even pop back for a cocktail in the evening.
On the banks of the River Windrush, this small, family run Artisan bakery is in a top spot with a lovely outside seating area. Bakery-on-the-water is famous for its super sticky cinnamon buns and the sausage rolls are to die for! Spend some time exploring beautiful Bourton-on-the-Water followed by a delicious treat…. we especially love the frangipane tart.
The Tea Set
Chipping Norton and Broadway
A bacon sarnie and coffee on the move? Yes please! The Tea Set was voted Best tearoom in The Cotswolds and great for delicious takeaway cake, coffee and sandwiches. If you fancy a tea party, why not order one of their afternoon teas to enjoy in your Cotswold holiday cottage. We recommend the super indulgent, and definitely worth it, Luxury Cotswold Afternoon Tea.

We recommend visiting on a Saturday as they have a pop-up bakery with Cheltenham’s Baker and Graze, where you can get their wonderful 38-hour fermented sourdough loaves, doughnuts and pastries.
Jolly Nice Farm Shop and Kitchen
The Jolly Nice Drive Through is just that, jolly nice! Kickstart your day with some great coffee and a selection of fabulous takeaway treats… their cinnamon swirls are so huge they’re big enough for two! We’re also big fans of their smoothie menu, the banana, peanut butter and cinnamon smoothie is divine!
Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Witney
There’s nothing better than a Cotswolds Cream Tea and Huffkins is the best place for it. Cheap and cheerful with a lovely welcome, this Cotswolds family run bakery has been baking and providing the local area with the finest tea and legendary fresh cream cakes for over 130 years!
