The Old Stables at Broadwell Manor is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold holiday apartment which sleeps 4 guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms and with one bespoke bathroom. This stylish first floor apartment features a light and airy open plan sitting area, kitchen and dining area. There is also a small covered patio space at ground level and a pretty grass area to the side which can be enjoyed all year round. The Old Stables is positioned within the stunning grounds of Broadwell Manor, a quintessential Grade II* listed Georgian country house.The Old Stables at Broadwell Manor is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for two dogs (see Finer Details).

The Old Stables at Broadwell Manor can be booked either on its own, or with Orchard House at Broadwell Manor which sleeps two guests. Located in the same estate grounds, the two together offer an ideal setup for larger groups.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

The Old Stables sits within the Broadwell Manor Estate, located in picturesque Broadwell. This unspoilt village has a beautiful church, picturesque green and a charming local pub, The Fox Inn, which is just a short walk away through the grounds of Broadwell Manor. Just over a mile away is the vibrant market town of Stow-on-the-Wold which boasts an array of boutique quirky shops, fabulous food and drink and an abundance of antique shops. Moreton-in-Marsh, with its regular market, shopping and mainline station with direct services to London Paddington, is less than four miles away.
For your shopping essentials, there are supermarkets in Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh.
Broadwell sits in the heart of the North Cotswolds and is perfectly placed for visiting the much-loved towns and villages of Chipping Campden, Cheltenham, Broadway, Lower Slaughter and Blockley. Popular attractions such as The Cotswold Wildlife Park, Broadway Tower and Batsford Arboretum are easily accessible too.

The Finer Details

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under) 
  • Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic and feathered)
  • Off street parking is available for up to 2 cars
  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)
  • 2 dogs are welcome for an additional £40 per booking per dog. For pet rules, please visit our FAQs
  • Dogs to be kept on a lead whilst on the manor grounds
  • Strong WiFi (Download speed 250 Mbps/Upload speed 250 Mbps)

  • BBQ provided April to October only (owners will supply charcoal but guests are responsible for cleaning BBQ after use)

  • External wooden stairs to access the apartment, sloping ceilings throughout, small step from utility area towards bedrooms
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £200 is required for bookings at this property. We reserve the right to charge an amount up to the value of the security deposit to your payment card up to 7 days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the security deposit amount against your payment card 7 days prior to your arrival date, which will be released 7 days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
