Green Farm is a beautifully refurbished Grade II listed Cotswold holiday home which sleeps 11 guests (see Finer Details), in five generously sized bedrooms, with two bathrooms. This spacious countryside retreat has been lovingly restored and offers a perfect blend of period charm and modern comfort for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a truly idyllic setting. On the ground floor you are greeted by a charming country kitchen, fully equipped for all your culinary needs, and a cosy snug which offers a delightful space to curl up with a good book or enjoy a quiet moment. Beyond the snug, both the dining and sitting rooms boast wood burners, perfect for those cosy nights in beside a crackling fire. The beautiful gardens and grounds include an orchard, fully equipped outdoor kitchen, pizza oven and fire pit, as well as a hot tub! Green Farm is also a dog friendly Cotswold holiday home, suitable for three medium sized dogs.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Green Farm is located in the delightful market town of Lechlade-on-Thames in the south east corner of Gloucestershire, bordering Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. Lechlade is part of the Cotswold Water Park with over 40 square miles and 150 lakes to explore and where you can enjoy a variety of water sports and specialist angling. The 'cafe culture' and the Christmas Shop provide all year round popular attractions to this dog friendly town.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Budgens in Lechlade and a Waitrose and Co-op in Highworth.
Lechlade is ideally located for visiting the towns and villages of Bibury and Burford, and for more inspiration, check out our 10 Best Cotswold Villages and towns over on our blog! There are also many local attractions to enjoy such as The Swindon and Cricklade Railway and Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, both lovely family days out.

The Finer Details

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 11 guests, though the number of adults per booking is capped at 10. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)
  • Bed linen and towels are provided
  • Off street parking is available for up to 5 cars
  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Green Farm has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
  • The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
  • Please note there are Ring cameras on both front exterior doors
  • Please note the outbuildings and fields beyond are not accessible for guests
  • The single bed in bedroom 5 is only suitable for a child under 12 years old
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £500 is required for bookings at this property. We reserve the right to charge an amount up to the value of the security deposit to your payment card up to 7 days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the security deposit amount against your payment card 7 days prior to your arrival date, which will be released 7 days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
