  • National press features including weddings, dog-friendly holidays and US visitor trends.
  • August podcast interview with the owner-director that reached American audiences.
  • September coverage focused on Cotswolds autumn adventures, walking routes and family-friendly stays.
  • Emphasis on dog-friendly cottages, multi-generational breaks and the unique character of the Cotswolds.

July: Weddings, American Visitors, and Four-Legged Friends

Our owner-director, Tracy Archer, featured in The Daily Mail alongside prominent wedding industry commentators, discussing why the region has become such a sought-after destination for weddings. Tracy said:

“People want a wedding that reflects their personality, and they often choose places that already hold special memories for them.”

The momentum continued with a feature in The Times, where Tracy explored the growing trend of US visitors flocking to the Cotswolds. The piece examined why this region is so enduringly popular and becoming even more so, thanks to numerous TV and film series being set and filmed here. Tracy’s lengthy comment covered how visitors from the US represent a significant growth area for StayCotswold – pleasing news for our property owners and local businesses.

July also saw us championing our four-legged guests in Companion Life.  We discussed our status as a very dog-friendly provider of cottage accommodation in the Cotswolds, and shared details about the special offers available through our VIP guest website portal, including offers at The Little Dog Shop, a wonderful pet themed gift shop in Cirencester located close to two of our lovely properties at Cowley House.

The highlight of August, was our owner-director Tom Burdett’s interview on the Anglotopia podcast – a hugely popular podcast in America for fans of British culture. Tom delved into why Americans love the Cotswolds so much, exploring what draws them to this picturesque region and how StayCotswold ensures properties are maintained to the highest standard for all guests, wherever in the world they’re from. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our growing American audience and share our commitment to exceptional hospitality.

60 Plus Surfers published an extended article about Fall in the Cotswolds, focusing on the accessibility of footpaths and great walks perfect for grandparents enjoying time with their grandchildren. The piece perfectly captured the multigenerational appeal of our region during one of its most beautiful seasons.

Continuing the walking theme, The London News featured our specially curated dog walk map, available on our website, which showcases our team’s favourite dog walks throughout the Cotswolds. It’s become an invaluable resource for guests wanting to explore the Cotswolds with their canine companions.

With National Fitness Day falling on September 24th, fitness became a hot topic. Sustain Health Magazine featured the top spots to keep fit while on holiday in the Cotswolds and included a comprehensive feature on the padel courts in the region – perfect for active guests looking to maintain their exercise routines whilst away.
