The main living areas are located on the first floor, with a spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen/dining room which opens onto a tranquil roof terrace with outdoor seating and a cosy firepit, an ideal spot for a morning coffee.

Ground Floor
The front door opens into the entrance hall, from which stairs lead into the spacious living room

First Floor

Sitting room
A bright and sunny aspect room, with exposed wooden beams and wooden floors. Amenities include a three-seater sofa, arm chair, Smart TV and a small selection of books

Kitchen/dining room
Providing direct access to the tranquil roof terrace, the well-equipped kitchen contains an electric induction oven with electric ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing/dryer and a glass dining table with seating for four

Second Floor

Master bedroom (Sleeps 2)
A stylish room with plenty of natural light, double bed, wall mounted Smart TV, full-length free-standing mirror, hair dryer, fan, built-in wardrobes and overhead storage

Bedroom 2 (Sleeps 2)
A well presented bedroom which contains a double bed, built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers and a dressing table

Family bathroom
A modern bathroom with high ceilings and a skylight. This room contains a bath with overhead shower, loo, basin and heated towel rail

Outside
The roof top terrace is accessed via the kitchen/dining room, a perfect space to relax and unwind after a day spent exploring the Cotswold. This area contains a table with seating for four and a fire pit for chilly evenings

  • This property is situated above a commercial property PFPWealth, just off Stow Square.  It is accessed via steep stairs and is therefore not suitable for those with difficulties climbing stairs
  • The outbuilding on the roof terrace is not accessible to guests
  • The smoke detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to heath and safety only 1 baby not yet walking is allowed
  • Regrettably, children under the age of 10 are not permitted, excluding 1 baby in arms. This is due to the apartment having been designed very much with adults in mind 
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Church View Apartment is located in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, a picturesque market town with immense character and history. Guests have a selection of well-regarded pubs, restaurants and shops just moments from the doorstep! Why not enjoy an evening at The Old Butchers, The Old Stocks Inn or Alexiou's restaurant & bar. For breakfast we suggest The Hive, or a coffee from Coach House Coffee.
For your shopping essentials, there is a mini Co-op in The Square, less than a minutes' walk away, or a Tesco Superstore located on the Fosse Way, less than one mile away.
Stow-on-the-Wold is ideally situated in the North Cotswolds, perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby towns and villages such as Burford, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway.

We had a lovely few days at Church View apartment. it's a very calming and thoughtfully styled place. . The location is very convenient right in the middle of Stow on the Wold but an advantage to be up from the street level. There were only two of us - mother and daughter, and it was lovely to have a double bedroom each, we did wonder if the lounge seating would be a bit tight if there were two couples - there is one sofa and a small chair. We loved sitting on the terrace which is a real suntrap It was ideal for us though and we had a really lovely time would recommend the place and would definitely return. Just a note for parking for future guests - we had no problem, you can park for 2 hours in the square (which is really almost just outside) and there are no restrictions from 6pm - 9 am.(so essentially you can happily park from 4pm - 11 am ; - ) )
