In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Green Farm House is located in picturesque Aldsworth, an unspoilt village benefitting from a popular country pub. Just a short drive away is the renowned village of Bibury, owned by the National Trust. This chocolate box village is home to the famous Arlington Row and a traditional trout farm. There are many footpaths on its doorstep including the Darcy-Dalton long distance path and three miles of the National Trust's Lodge Park and Sherborne Estate which is suitable for all ages. The lovely market town of Burford, home to many eateries and shops, is a mere four miles away and is known as the gateway to the Cotswolds. Aldsworth sits in the heart of the East Cotswolds and is perfectly placed for visiting the much-loved towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Northleach and Cirencester, as well as the picture postcard villages of Bourton-on-the-Water, Lower Slaughter and Blockley.

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire (over 30s only)
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Green Farm House has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
  • The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
  • No shoes to be worn in the house (guests are advised to bring slippers)
  • No food allowed in music room, sitting room and bedrooms
  • There are a few windows in the house with red tags on them – please do not attempt to open them as they are old and fragile
  • CCTV on entry
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £350 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
