Keepers Annexe is a lovely Cotswold studio apartment near Cranham which sleeps 2+1 guests (see Finer Details), with the +1 option being a trundle bed suitable for a child under 12, with a contemporary shower room. Despite its compact size, the interiors are light, bright, and beautifully decorated. This lovely annexe sits in the grounds of the owners’ house, with the space thoughtfully designed to create a charming bolthole. With its rural location, Keepers Annexe is a great option for avid ramblers, as well as those who are looking to be within easy reach of nearby vibrant Cheltenham. The terrace offers a wonderful suntrap to relax and admire the stunning countryside views. Keepers Annexe is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for one medium sized dog!

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Keepers Annexe is located near to the pretty village of Cranham, a small, traditional village with honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages lining its streets. Cranham is home to a children's play area, a common and the popular pub, The Black Horse Inn. The nearest eatery to the property is The Fostons Ash with an excellent menu and local beers. The village is surrounded by wonderful, unspoilt countryside specifically known for its ancient beech woodlands containing a wealth of footpaths, including The Cotswold Way.
For your shopping essentials, the nearest is the village shop in Miserden.
Cranham is ideally located for exploring the local towns of Stroud and Cheltenham, both of which can be reached in under a 20 minutes' drive. The cities of Cirencester and Gloucester also lie within easy reach about an hour away. The popular attraction of Ebworth National Trust centre is just two minutes' drive from Keepers Annexe, and beautiful Royal Forest of Dean, Painswick's Rococo Garden and Slimbridge Wetland Wildlife Reserve, all lie within a short drive.

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk

Things to Note...
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 3 guests, though the number of adults per booking is capped at 2. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • The studio apartment is located above the owner's garage (there are times of the year when this will be in use, however efforts have been taken to minimise noise)
  • There are Ring cameras in the courtyard, however these do not look into the annexe
  • The trundle bed is only suitable for a child under 12 years old
  • Keepers Annexe is one of two self-contained properties in the grounds where the owner lives
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £100 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
