Knoll Cottage is an elegantly furnished 18th century Cotswold cottage which sleeps four guests, in two beautifully appointed bedrooms, with two modern bathrooms. Laid out over four floors and boasting spacious living areas, including a stylish open plan kitchen/dining room which leads out into the tiered garden, with plenty of outdoor seating and a charcoal barbecue, a space to enjoy all year round. Indoors there is a cosy living room and many characterful features have been retained throughout the property including exposed Cotswold stone walls, original beams and a inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove.

This two bedroom holiday home in Blockley is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The Cotswold accommodation is laid out as follows:

The picturesque tiered garden with far reaching views over Blockley Valley is accessed via the kitchen. This tranquil space is bordered by beautiful flowers and shrubbery and is home to two patio areas both with outdoor tables and seating, plus a charcoal barbecue. Three steps lead down to the lawn area with a garden shed which houses the freezer.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Knoll Cottage is located in picturesque village of Blockley, a charming village with lots of character and history. Home to two wonderful pubs and a community owned viage shop & café. Why not enjoy an hearty British roast at The Great Weston Arms or Crown Hotel Blockley. For breakfast or a coffee we suggest Blockley Cafe.
For shopping essentials, there is the Blockley village shop, alternatively there is a local co-op in the neighbouring market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.
Blockley is ideally situated in the North Cotswolds, perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby towns and villages such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Camden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway.

  • Accessed by a steep staircase, Bedroom 2 is open plan with an adjoining ensuite bathroom. Due to the open stairs, this room is unsuitable for young children
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
  • This is a period property with character features including low beams, multiple floors and sloped ceilings on the second floor
  • A small quantity of consumables are provided (eg; tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets, soap, washing-up liquid, toilet rolls etc.)
  Things to Note...
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is four guests. Regrettably, Knoll Cottage does not accept children under the age of five. Babies who are not yet crawling/walking are accepted. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by one additional infant
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
