Maple House is a beautifully situated Cotswold holiday home, welcoming up to 10 guests (see Finer Details), in five bedrooms, with three bathrooms. The residence spans three floors, featuring spacious reception areas, a charming children's attic room with hand painted murals, and a large master suite with its own dressing room and statement sunken bath. An open plan kitchen/dining area serves as the heart of the home, leading to a bright conservatory equipped with a pool table and garden vistas. Outside, the garden offers further space including a patio, generous lawn with uninterrupted countryside views and the property's namesake maple tree, an impressive focal point with its seasonally changing foliage.

This five bedroom holiday cottage is perfectly situated in a quiet street just a short 10 minute stroll from bustling Chipping Campden. The property, suitable for group accommodation, is laid out as follows:

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

The ancient wool town of Chipping Campden is a popular destination due its picturesque buildings and array of amenities. The High Street and Market Hall have kept their traditional charms, still lined with honey-coloured Cotswold stone buildings housing a combination of local independents and a few well-known shops. The Market Hall dominates a central point in the town and still holds a weekly gathering of tradesmen. The Hall is owned by the National Trust but it was once set to be dismantled and shipped to America before local residents united to outbid the buyer!
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in the town centre as well as multiple local delis, butchers and fishmongers.
This bustling market town forms the starting point of the well-known walking trail, The Cotswold Way, which weaves across the area to its finishing point in Bath. Visitors to the area often enjoy sections of this route as it nips in and out of quaint Cotswold villages.   • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 10 guests, though the number of adults per booking is capped at 8. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 3 additional infants
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Please note that bedroom 5 in the attic has very sloped ceilings, so is only suitable for children under the age of 12 due to the restricted head height
  • The windows are regularly cleaned by a professional window cleaner and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, they may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £350 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
