Mossy is part of a collection of four romantic and thoughtfully designed cabins offering uninterrupted countryside views. Guests awake to their own picture-perfect view from the bed and need only take a few steps onto a private deck perfect for savouring a morning coffee. Days can be spent soaking up the view on bean bag loungers and when not eating out, there is to option to grill your own burgers on the outdoor log burner. With plenty of activities to enjoy onsite and in the local area, the outside roll top bath is the perfect relaxing end to the day.

Accommodation
This one-bedroom air conditioned cabin is the perfect romantic retreat with an abundance of wellness activities to enjoy after exploring the beautiful Cotswold countryside. Entering through a private gate, step onto the decking and accommodation laid out as follows:

King size bed with large windows on two sides, clothes hooks, two chairs and coffee table, kitchenette with microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle.

Overhead shower with handheld shower attachment, loo, wash basin and mirror

Additional facilities
Guests can pre-book on-site activities (for an additional charge) including Reformer Pilates, Padel courts, seasonal outdoor climbing, Scenic Sauna and bicycle hire. Award-winning Roots + Seeds cafe and kitchen is open daily serving delicious cooked breakfasts, winter Sunday roasts and summer pop-up events. The camping reception stocks essentials and sweet treats.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Located within the rural idyll surrounded by Cotswolds countryside, Mossy also benefits from being a lovely walk or short drive to the small market town of Northleach. A sense of history prevails with half-timbered buildings, 15th century church and a selection of pubs, cafes and independent shops offering all the conveniences guests will need including delicious coffee and baked goods at Lynwood & Co and The Old Prison Kitchen and Cafe. Locally walking and cycling trails are abundant, offering woodland trails at nearby Chedworth Roman Villa to longer loops taking in the pretty village or Bibury, Coln St Aldwyns where you can enjoy lunch at The New Inn pub, an ivy-clad coaching inn.

For your shopping essentials, there is a Budgens in Northleach, a Tesco Superstore, a Waitrose and an M&S Food Hall in Cirencester plus a Tesco in Stow-on-the-Wold.
Northleach is an ideal spot for visiting the spa town of Cheltenham with its fine Regency buildings and vibrant areas of Montpellier and The Suffolks filled with antique shops, cafes and boutique shops.

The cabins are made of timber, fireworks, Chinese lanterns, candles, BBQs and fire pits are not permitted

Either a Security Deposit or payment of an Accidental Damage Waiver is required at this property
Check in is from 15:00 and check out is by 10:00

Security Deposit/Accidental Damage Waiver

Bookings at this property require either a £100 Security Deposit or payment of a non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver. Where you choose a Security Deposit and we have your payment card details on file (for your security, these details are tokenised), we have the right to charge an amount up to the value of the Security Deposit to your payment card up to seven days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the Security Deposit amount against your payment card seven days prior to your arrival date, which will be released seven days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. You may choose to waive the requirement for a Security Deposit by paying for an Accidental Damage Waiver at checkout. This is a non-refundable payment that covers the cost of any accidental damage or breakages to the property or its contents, up to the value of the Security Deposit. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
