From Northleach you are within easy reach of Cirencester Park which has over 15,000 acres of gardens you can spend a whole day enjoying the wonderful plants, picnicking on the lawns and treating yourself to a coffee from the quirky converted horse trailer come coffee shop.

Another short drive away from Northleach is a great family day out at the Cotswold Country Park and Beach. You can spend a whole day trying out adventures on land and on water. From kayaking and SUP boards to pedal carting and a hi-wire adventure, there is plenty to keep visitors young and old entertained.

Whilst out and about exploring the many villages and towns, stop off in nearby Bibury and take a photograph of Arlington Row. Built in 1380 as a monastic wool store this delightful row of properties is probably one of the most photographed Cotswold scenes.

Slightly further afield and another great photo opportunity you will come across the Rollright stones – a group of limestone boulder monuments and a stone circle dating back to Neolithic and Bronze Age.

Choose from an organic cocktail in The Old Spot, sample the delights of the farm’s free-range chickens and artisan breads in the Trough Café, or while away the evening with drinks and nibbles at the Legbar.
