Great decor, well equipped and clean cottage. Only a few minor technical problems. The water tap in the kitchen and banister were loose. Beds aren’t too great. Would not have chosen an Aga cooker myself but oké. But Otherwise we enjoyed our stay; great local pub, lovely surroundings.

Thank you for your review Gerrit-Jan. We’re pleased you found Quaint End to be clean and well equipped. We’ll ask the management company to take a look at the kitchen tap and banister, for anything like this please do get in touch at the time of a stay as hopefully there is a quick fix to make your stay more comfortable. We’ve always received such positive feedback about the beds being super comfy at Quaint End, although appreciate this is a very personal preference. Likewise with the Aga. Having an Aga is not for everyone but this is one of the great quirks and attractions of a cottage in the Cotswolds. Overall we’re pleased you had a great stay and hope to welcome you back to the Cotswolds sometime in future.

I have recently spent 3 nights at Quaint End in Ebrington. It was the relaxing holiday that my sister and I needed. The property itself is gorgeous. It's cosy, comforting and clean. It's in a quiet, peaceful area so if you're looking for relaxation then it's the perfect place for you. Quaint End has a stunning bathroom, complete with a big shower and a deep bath. It felt luxurious! We stayed in the summer when it was rather hot, so we made full use of the lovely little garden outside. The neighbours were incredibly welcoming which was so kind. We loved using the Aga to cook dinner. If you are coming to the property and you don't drive, be aware that Ebrington is quite out of the way. Aside from the farm shop, there's not really many options locally. If you're up for the walk, the nearest place is Chipping Campden just over 2 miles away. There is a charming pub nearby called the Ebrington Arms which serves delicious food although it isn't open on a Monday or Tuesday! We had a great stay and we would definitely stay again in the future.

Thank you for your very lovely review, Christine. We’re delighted that you and your sister thoroughly enjoyed staying at Quaint End and had the relaxing holiday you needed. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back again soon!

We booked Quaint End for a week and were very much looking forward to our stay there. It would appeal to those who want a very quiet, sleepy accommodation in a rural area with charm and character. Ebrington is very pretty, with a local pub, farm shop and lovely walks and is less than a couple of miles away from Chipping Campden, which has a selection of shops and pubs. The property is quirky and cosy, with a small garden, though if you have anything other than a small car you will be best leaving on the road as entrance to the car space is tight. The kitchen has an AGA cooker meaning the temperature is toasty as soon as you walk in the door. A narrow staircase leads to the living rooms and rustic bathroom, with another staircase to the bedrooms. We did notice that the rope banister was coming away from the wall and this was reported. We were due to stay for a week. However, the boiler was not working properly and by the second day, this meant we had no hot water or heating. We reported it to Stay Cotswolds and it turned out a new boiler was needed, which meant we had to be offered alternative accommodation as it could not be replaced for a week. The owners/Stay Cotswolds/Management Company were very fair and we got refunded for our time spent. The money went towards another property - though this wasn't quite as nice as Quaint End.If it wasn't for the banister and boiler, it would be 5's all round. It was just unfortunate and we hope to book Quaint End again next year as the property and location is ideal and I'm sure it will be for others too!Darren & Melanie Hoggett

We are delighted to hear that you will be re-booking Quaint End next year after your stay was so unexpectedly curtailed. It is a lovely cottage in a very pretty village. We are sorry that we we not able to get the boiler fixed during your stay; thank you for bearing with us while alternative accommodation was arranged. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
