All on one level, set in a peaceful location, Slade Stables near Blockley has been meticulously restored and rebuilt with an emphasis on light and practicality, which now presents itself as a lovely holiday home, cabin style. Sleeping 4 guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms, with two spacious bathrooms (please note that this property is not suitable for infants or children under the age of 8). There is a snug living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area with a smart flat screen TV, and also table for 4. The bedrooms are super comfy and each has its own en-suite! There is a perfect area by the front door, to have a BBQ and to soak up the rural atmosphere. There are many wonderful walks from the door where you can soak up the wonderful views and you can spot lots of wildlife and birds as long as you're quiet! There are wild orchids in the woodlands nearby and there is even a herd of deer that live nearby. And if you fancy a delicious breakfast or lunch the Cotswold Food Store and Cafe are just along the road…they get 5 stars on Trip Advisor.

This two bedroom holiday cottage is situated in a rural yet central location in the North Cotswolds with popular towns and villages just a short drive away, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway to name a few! Slade Stables is perfectly suited to those looking to explore the beautiful Cotswolds with countryside walks from the doorstep and all your shopping essentials within two miles. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Slade Stables is situated in rural yet central spot in the north Cotswolds with Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway all within a 15 minute drive. Beyond exploring these charming Cotswold villages, you can enjoy countryside walks from your doorstep or enjoy a visit to nearby Batsford Arboretum or Snowhill Cotswold Lavendar fields.
For your shopping essentials, visit nearby Troopers Lodge or Gulf petrol station, both within 2 miles of Slade Stables. Alternatively, there is a Tesco on the outskirts of Stow-on-the-Wold or Aldi and Co-op in Moreton-in-Marsh.

Accessibility and Health and Safety

The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk.

 
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
