All on one level, set in a peaceful location, Slade Stables near Blockley has been meticulously restored and rebuilt with an emphasis on light and practicality. Sleeping 4 guests (no children aged seven or under permitted), in two well-appointed bedrooms each with its own ensuite. The open plan living space houses a cosy sitting area and well equipped kitchen with seating, ideal for relaxing with friends or family after a day exploring the area. There is a perfect area by the front door, to have a BBQ and to soak up the rural atmosphere. There are many local walks from the door where you can soak up the views and you can spot lots of wildlife and birds. The nearby woodland is home to wild orchids and there is even a herd of deer. And if you fancy a delicious breakfast or lunch the Cotswold Food Store and Cafe are just along the road.

This two bedroom holiday cottage is situated in a rural yet central location in the North Cotswolds with popular towns and villages just a short drive away! Slade Stables is perfectly suited to those looking to explore the beautiful Cotswolds with countryside walks from the doorstep and all your shopping essentials within two miles. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Slade Stables is situated in rural yet central spot in the north Cotswolds with Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway all within a 15 minute drive. Beyond exploring these charming Cotswold villages, you can enjoy countryside walks from your doorstep or enjoy a visit to nearby Batsford Arboretum or Snowhill Cotswold Lavendar fields.

For your shopping essentials, visit nearby Troopers Lodge or Gulf petrol station, both within 2 miles of Slade Stables. Alternatively, there is a Tesco on the outskirts of Stow-on-the-Wold or Aldi and Co-op in Moreton-in-Marsh.

Accessibility and Health and Safety

The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

We loved the 2 bedroom accomodation, it was great having 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you would need. The lounge was comfortable, along with comfy beds, and good pillows. Great outdoor area with a bbq for the warmer days. It was so peaceful and quiet. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Loved waking up to the fields and horses. Good location for touring the Cotswold, everything was within a 20 minute drive and the nearest village just up the road. Would highly recommend.

Slade stables is set in a lovely location away from the main road overlooking lovely fields with friendly horses and dogs at the farm. Whilst the cottage is clean, modern, well maintained and equipped it is small. There were only two of us for the week but think it would be tight if there were four people staying. Jane was very welcoming and was helpful meeting us on arrival and departure and left a nice welcome pack. Overall the cottage is very nice and we had a good time in the beautiful Cotswolds.
