The Old Dairy is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold stone cottage near Broadway which sleeps six guests, in three well-appointed bedrooms, with two spacious bathrooms. Dating back to the 17th century, this wonderful home from home has a stylish open plan kitchen/dining room which leads out into the picturesque garden, an enchanting outside space boasting plenty of outdoor seating. Indoors there are many lovely character features including exposed wooden beams, stone mullion windows and an exposed stone chimney breast with an inset wood burner (October – April only). The Old Dairy is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for two small, or one medium sized dog!

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

The Old Dairy is located in idyllic Stanton, a picturesque chocolate-box village with honey-coloured Cotswold stone properties and The Mount Inn, a popular gastropub. There are many footpaths on its doorstep including the renowned Cotswold Way long distance walking trail which passes through the village itself, and for keen riders, Stanton is home to Cotswold Riding, an equine facility run by Jill Carenza which provides hacks for riders of all abilities.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Broadway and a convenience store in Toddington.
Stanton is well-placed for exploring the lovely towns and villages of the North Cotswolds such as Winchcombe, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway.

  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen and mattress for the travel cot, as these are not provided)

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted
  • Commercial and work related bookings are not permitted
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • BBQs are not permitted at the property
  • The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant. During peak periods, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied; this work will be completed on a Friday as quickly as possible and with as little disturbance as possible to guests
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
