The Old Hall is an extraordinary, spacious Cotswold holiday home which sleeps 8 guests in four spacious bedrooms with two ensuites and a family bathroom. Escape the hustle and bustle of modern life and be transported into the realm of the English countryside, with climbing roses, honey-coloured stone, and rolling hills setting the scene for a memorable family escape. The welcoming sitting room has an abundance of comfort, with plenty of space to snuggle up, play games, or watch a movie while relaxing by the warming log burner. The kitchen is well-equipped and the perfect place to rustle up a home-cooked meal to savour in the impressive dining room. The pinnacle point of the property is, of course, the garden! A peaceful cottage garden on the lower level is where many an evening can be spent reminiscing and relaxing in the hot tub. On the upper level, you will find a large lawn area to while away a summer day with a picnic and outdoor games. The Old Hall is a superb dog-friendly holiday home, suitable for two medium-sized dogs!

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Located in the hamlet of Westonbirt, surrounded by nature and wildlife this peaceful setting is home to The Old Hall. Only a 5 minute walk away you will find yourself at Westonbirt Arboretum and just 1 mile down the road you will find the renowned Royal Highgrove Gardens which we highly recommend visting during your stay. If you are an activity lover, there are numerous walks and cycling routes from your doorstep with the local Westonbirt 9 hole golf course being a great activity for all the family. Not to mention the numerous events taking place locally throughout the year such as concerts and horse trails at the Badminton Estate and outdoor cinema events and Christmas light trails at the Arboretum, there is much to enjoy during your visit!
For your shopping essentials, there are a number of supermarkets and independent retailers in Tetbury, just a short drive away.
Westonbirt sits in the heart of the South Cotswolds and is perfectly placed to visit local towns such as Tetbury, Malmsebury and Nailsworth whilst also being in easy reach of Cheltenham and Bath.

Things to Note...
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 8 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 4 additional infants 
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire
  • Commercial and work related bookings are not permitted
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • The Old Hall has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 22:00
  • The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £400 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
