The Hayloft near Bourton-on-the-Water is a lovingly restored apartment located in the eaves of a Grade II listed barn conversion. Sleeping two guests, in one bedroom, with a separate bathroom, it is perfect for a romantic Cotswold getaway. Whilst retaining plenty of the barn's original features, this well thought out space has all the essentials for a short break in the Cotswolds. Located in the grounds of the owner's home in the charming village of Cold Aston, you are moments from well regarded Cotswold towns like Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

This one bedroom Cotswold holiday accommodation in Cold Aston is ideally suited for couples looking for a country retreat and the chance to explore the surrounding Cotswolds. The accommodation is laid out as follows:
First Floor
There is an external stone staircase leading to the first floor barn conversion
In the entrance hall there is hanging space for your coats and storage for your muddy boots, along with a cupboard storing an iron and ironing board
Kitchen
A modern well-equipped kitchen with electric oven with grill and four-ring hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetière
A combined washing machine/tumble dryer is also located in the kitchen
Bedroom (Sleeps 2)
A couple of steps down lead you into the bedroom with king size bed, two bedside tables with drawers and lamps, built-in cupboards with hangers, chair and hairdryer

In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.
For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.
Location Information
Cold Aston is nestled in the North Cotswolds and is perfectly placed for visiting the much loved towns of Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Cheltenham, as well as the picture postcard villages of Broadway, Lower Slaughter and Blockley.

- The maximum occupancy for this property is 2 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant who is not yet walking (aged 2 or under)
- Bed linen and towels are provided - some bedding and cushions are feather filled. On request (1 week notice) all feather filled items can be removed and hypoallergenic bedding can be provided
- Off street parking is available for up to 1 car
- 1 travel cot and 1 baby bath are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

- The garden furniture is usually stored away during the winter months, however can be arranged on request

- The Hayloft is a Grade II listed barn conversion with reduced head height due to sloped ceilings and low beams in all rooms
- The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
- No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
- Regrettably, due to the steepness of the exterior steps, The Hayloft is not suitable for children
- Hen, Stag and other same sex groups are not permitted
- Commercial and work related bookings are not permitted
- Events are not permitted without prior consent
- The Hayloft is situated in the grounds of the owner's home
- A security deposit is required at this property
- Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
- Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
Bookings at this property require either a £150 Security Deposit or payment of a non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver. Where you choose a Security Deposit and we have your payment card details on file (for your security, these details are tokenised), we have the right to charge an amount up to the value of the Security Deposit to your payment card up to seven days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the Security Deposit amount against your payment card seven days prior to your arrival date, which will be released seven days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. You may choose to waive the requirement for a Security Deposit by paying for an Accidental Damage Waiver at checkout. This is a non-refundable payment that covers the cost of any accidental damage or breakages to the property or its contents, up to the value of the Security Deposit. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
