The Lodge is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold holiday home which sleeps four guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms, with one spacious wet room. The interior is stylish and minimalist to complement the open plan design which is spacious and welcoming with an open fire for those cosy nights in. The kitchen is a very sociable space with sleek, modern lines; perfect for cooking up some culinary delights. There is plenty of outside space and seating to enjoy alfresco dining or a glass of wine by the fire pit. The garden also comes complete with a sauna, outside bath and cold shower.
The Lodge can be booked either on its own or with The Gatehouse which sleeps two guests. Located in the same estate grounds, the two together offer an ideal setup for two families, or for friends travelling together.
Accommodation
This two bedroom holiday home in Lypiatt Park, Bisley, is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. This single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:
Sitting/dining area
Sunny aspect, garden access, open fire, Smart TV with apps (account holders only), four-seater sofa, selection of board games and books, and four-seater dining table
Kitchen
Garden access, central island with two bar stools, electric oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and two cafetières
Master bedroom (Sleeps 2)
Accessed via bedroom 2 with king size bed, hanging clothes rail and chair
Access to outdoor covered bath, cold shower, sauna and garden
Bedroom 2 with ensuite (Sleeps 2)
Two 75cm wide single beds (which can be pushed together to make a king on request, though not zip locked), hanging clothes rail, chest of drawers (shared with master bedroom), chair, mirror and hairdryer (a curtain can be pulled across to give privacy)
Ensuite with large walk-in shower, loo, basin, chair and heated towel rail (please note the bathroom can only be accessed via bedroom 2)
Outside
Patio, lawn, bistro set, outdoor table seating six, access to outside bath, cold shower and sauna

Booking & Payment
StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.
For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.
Location Information
The South Cotswolds has many wonderful towns and villages to explore including Minchinhampton, Cirencester, Tetbury and Painswick, as well as a number of attractions such as Giffords Circus, The Butterfly Sanctuary and the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way, a five mile circular walk through the Slad Valley.

- The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

- Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

- No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
- Events are not permitted without prior consent

- Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
- Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
- The Lodge has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
- Please note the main Bisley Road runs directly alongside the property
- Giffords Circus is located in Fennells Farm, opposite The Lodge, and is open to the public on various dates throughout the year
- Please note that the only access to the bathroom is via bedroom 2 (there is a curtain that can be pulled across bedroom 2 to give privacy from the walkway to the bathroom)
A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. We reserve the right to charge an amount up to the value of the security deposit to your payment card up to 7 days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the security deposit amount against your payment card 7 days prior to your arrival date, which will be released 7 days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
