Apple Tree Cottage is a stylish and luxurious period property which sleeps six guests across four well-appointed bedrooms and two bathrooms, split between the main house and a beautifully converted annexe in the garden. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy snug and a well-equipped kitchen leading through to the dining/family room. French doors open onto the private garden with views of the Bathurst Estate, offering plenty of outdoor seating and two decked areas—one with a copper bath and another perfect for morning yoga or soaking up the sun. Refurbished to an exceptionally high standard, Apple Tree Cottage is a dog-friendly sanctuary, ideal for families or friends looking to unwind together.

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Daglingworth is a charming, peaceful village nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, just a short drive from the Roman market town of Cirencester. Surrounded by rolling countryside, it offers a true escape with scenic walks right from the doorstep and easy access to nearby villages and attractions. The village is home to a historic church and enjoys a strong sense of community. For everyday essentials and dining, Cirencester offers a wide range of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Daglingworth is ideally located for exploring the wider Cotswolds, including Bibury, Tetbury, and the vibrant spa town of Cheltenham.

  • Due to space constraints in the living areas, the maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests.Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under) 
  • Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic)
  • Off street parking is available for up to 4 cars

  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

  • The annexe offers a studio-type ground floor sleeping option. It is fully detached from the cottage and accessed from across the patio (1 step down from back/patio doors and 2 steps up to the annexe).    
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • A security deposit is required at this property

  • Apple Tree Cottage has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. 
  • Games and sports equipment in the garden cabin for guests to use at their own risk
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. We reserve the right to charge an amount up to the value of the security deposit to your payment card up to 7 days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the security deposit amount against your payment card 7 days prior to your arrival date, which will be released 7 days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
