Archway House, originally part of a former mill, sleeps four guests (no children aged two or under permitted), in two well-appointed bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Throughout this distinguished property, there are incredible vaulted ceilings, exquisite antique furniture and original art works on the walls. This peaceful and stylish abode benefits from a quirky and distinctive layout with a spacious, comfortable sitting room and a well-equipped kitchen. A rather delightful aspect of the property is the cosy social dining room with its flickering log burner, the ideal space to enjoy your evening meal with friends and family. Externally there is a courtyard garden with beautiful country views onto the communal garden and nearby stream, the perfect spot for a quiet morning coffee.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Archway House is situated in the picturesque village of Blockley, just three miles from the bustling market town of Chipping Campden. Surrounded by stunning countryside, there are many footpaths on its doorstep including routes to nearby Batsford Arboretum and Snowshill, home to Snowshill Manor, owned by the National Trust. Blockley boasts a highly acclaimed cafe and two popular pubs, and The Horse and Groom, in nearby Bourton-on-the-Hill, also serves excellent food and is well worth a visit.
For your shopping essentials, there is a well-stocked shop in the village and a Co-op in nearby Moreton-in-Marsh.
Blockley is well-placed for visiting the popular towns and villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway, as well as further afield destinations including Oxford and Cirencester.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Regrettably, children aged 2 or under are not permitted

  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Things to Note...
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Archway House has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
  • The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £200 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
